Motorola Solutions to Acquire Openpath Security

Through this acquisition, Motorola Solutions will be able to expand on its broad presence in serving enterprise customers with an unsurpassed security solution.

Motorola Solutions has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Openpath Security Inc, a cloud-based mobile access control provider. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the month. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Leading within the access control industry, Openpath’s solution makes businesses more secure with multi-factor authentication, enables a contactless entry experience and can be easily scaled and managed because of its cloud-based architecture.
