Ness Announced Leadership Moves

by CIO AXIS

To build upon the strategic services the company provides to its customer base, Ness Software Engineering Services has relocated Satyajit Bandyopadhyay, president & chief delivery officer, from India to the United States to be closer to Ness’s customers based in the United States and Europe. Ness also announced the appointment of Narayanan Nair to chief people officer.

Satyajit Bandyopadhyay will be based in Teaneck, NJ. This move enables Bandyopadhyay to engage more closely with customers, leveraging his 30 years of delivery experience to identify further opportunities to advance the delivery excellence for which the company is known. He will also extend Ness’s technology practices in DevOps, integrated user experience design and software development, data analytics and Business Process Management, which are increasingly required by customers to accelerate outcomes and expand the business value of their digital transformation programs.

Narayanan Nair, who will work out of Ness’s offices near Pittsburgh, will lead the company’s global recruitment and human resources functions, including initiatives around talent management and acquisition and strategic programs to help Ness achieve its growth plans. Nair has previously held leadership roles at GlaxoSmithKline, GE – GXS, Computer Associates, and most recently comes from Mphasis, where he led HR and Recruitment for large-scale, global operations.

“These two moves are important for Ness. Bringing Satyajit to the U.S. positions us to build upon Ness’s role as a strategic partner to our customers as they define and execute their digital business programs,” said Paul Lombardo, CEO at Ness. “And, Narayanan’s experience leading recruitment and strategy for a range of organizations will be critical as we continue to structure our company to bring value to our customers striving to digitally transform their organizations.”
