The leading, modern, general purpose database platform, MongoDB, Inc. has won the Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year – Marketplace award for 2020.

MongoDB was honoured for its contributions to the Google Cloud ecosystem, which included assisting joint clients with the integration of Google Cloud products with MongoDB Atlas, the company’s global cloud database.

Atlas may be integrated with Google Cloud products including Tensorflow, BigQuery, Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Dataproc, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub using MongoDB.

The firms recently deepened their partnership by integrating MongoDB Atlas with Google Cloud DataStream. Google Cloud StratoZone now supports MongoDB to help companies expedite their migration to Google Cloud.

“MongoDB and Google Cloud have a long-standing partnership, focused on driving customer success across multiple industries at a global scale with MongoDB Atlas,” said Alan Chhabra, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Partners, MongoDB. “Year-over-year we see incredible growth in joint customer engagement, adoption and innovation. This award is a testament to our shared commitment to helping businesses build a foundation for data-driven transformation.

We look forward to years of further success between MongoDB and Google Cloud and in the short term expanding our invoicing models on Google Cloud Marketplace, our integrations with Google Cloud’s data center migration assessment tooling, and launching Private Service Connect for Atlas.”

“We’re proud to recognize MongoDB as our Technology Partner of the Year for Marketplace,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, Corporate Vice President, Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud. “This award recognizes MongoDB’s commitment to customer success, and its delivery of innovative and impactful solutions on Google Cloud. We look forward to building together with MongoDB and creating business value for customers with cloud technologies.”
