These products have been conceptualized, designed and developed in collaboration with some of the world’s leading web companies based on their operational best practices. The NCS 1000 Series delivers fully programmable, high-bandwidth capacity between data centers which improves business agility and simplifies operations to deliver high-bandwidth mobile, video, and cloud services.
According to Cisco Global Cloud Index, network traffic between and from data centers is expected to increase threefold by 2019. To meet this exponential growth in traffic, networks need software and hardware solutions that are optimized for scale to deliver cloud applications with greater agility, automation and simplicity. The NCS 5000 Series is designed to economically scale large enterprise and provide over-the-top (OTT) services. According to the Cisco Visual Networking Index forecast, Wi-Fi traffic will exceed wired traffic by 21 percent in 2019. Driven by the explosive growth of the Internet of Everything (IoE), the share of smart devices and connections as a percentage of the total will double to 54 percent by 2019.The 5520/8540 Series Wireless LAN controllers are designed to handle the large number of devices and increased traffic seamlessly.
