Sameer Singh Jaini quits as CTO of DCB Bank

Sameer Singh Jaini, CTO of DCB Bank, quit last week. He has been shepherding Bank’s digital initiative for the several years. He was responsible for driving innovation and technology transformation across Digital Business, Core platform and Infrastructure at the bank.

Jaini who joined DCB Bank in November 2013 led and assisted with several major projects during his tenure, and was involved in some digital initiatives at the bank, one of which included a project on Aadhaar-based authentication for secure and convenient ATM transactions.

“It was a great experience working with DCB Bank and I am proud of the entire team and our achievements,” says Jaini, as he now shifts his focus on creating a Digital Disruption Consulting and Delivery firm with focus on banks, NBFCs, Wealth Management, Mutual Fund and Insurance.

Jaini has an overall experience of around 25 years. He started his career with Tata Steel as a Senior Officer. Prior to joining DCB Bank he worked as Program Director at Wipro Technologies and was also part of Infosys Technologies for around eight years. In the banking space, he worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank and Citibank in various positions, and has a strong understanding of the digital and fintech landscape.

Jaini did his B Tech in Ceramics from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) and MBA in Finance and Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur.
